PROCEDURES
1. We Began by arranging the materials that represents the GARBAGE in our LANDFILLS that we are going to place in our DECOMPOSITION COLUMN,
which is a pretty good model of a LANDFILL
2. Then we Selected 5 items to include in our DECOMPOSITION COLUMN. 3 Organic and 2 man made.
3. Next we arranged the items in our DECOMPOSITION COLUMN putting a layer of soil between each layer.
4.Finally we observed the finished DECOMPOSITION COLUMN. We filled out our data collection sheet which includes a beginning drawing,
a list of the contents in the order they were installed, the date, the color, texture, odor, and height
5. After the initial set up, we observe the DECOMPOSITION COLUMN weekly recording our observation and having short discussions to share any observations.
